Established in 1997, the Shark Trust promotes the study, management and conservation of Sharks, Skates and Rays. It collaborates with other national member bodies to achieve these aims in British, European and International waters.

IDW, International Dolphin Watch, is a non-profit organisation dedicated to the study and care of Dolphins, especially their relationship with humans.From this comes Dolphin healing and the need to protect the marine environment for the benefit of the Dolphins.

IAR, International Animal Rescue, are a UK based charity working all over the world to relieve the suffering of animals. The site explains how they started and details their various projects around the world. Their largest project to date is the setting up of a fully equipped veterinary clinic in Goa-India to sterilize the street Cats and Dogs.

BDMLR, British Divers Marine Life Rescue, provide a rescue service for marine wildlife around the UK. Their site details some of the rescues they have carried out and shows a map of strandings throughout the UK. It details the training of volunteers to become marine mammal medics. This training is open to all, YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE A DIVER.
