2015 Roadshows...June in Oxford and Ireland

June saw the Roadshow off to Oxford Festival of Nature, for the Wild Fair at the magnificent Oxford Universities Museum of Natural History. Over 4000 people passed through the Museum on this Saturday, and there were lots of extra activities and info stands, all organised by Berks Bucks & Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust, as well as the permanent collection of artefacts housed within the museum.  A quick set up and limited floor space was no problem, and we were pleased to be part of this great day

The next weekend saw the roadshow in Ireland for the Irish Maritime Festival, held on the quayside at Drogheda, where over 40000 folk visited over the 3 day festival, enjoying tall ships, live music, and good craic, including an appearence from the Roadshow with the Blue Whale and friends. Inside the dockside warehouse, we had background sound effects, subdued lighting and shared our space with a live tank from Irish National Aquarium.  Again we were pleased to be part of this great 3 days in Ireland.
